During the Orthoclinic shoulder, elbow and knee observership, candidates will observe the day to day clinical consultation and surgical procedures to Australian standards performed by Dr Herald. Candidates will also participate in a sports med and or arthroplasty workshop training session where surgical techniques used by Dr Herald can be practiced on demonstration models and or saw bones. On satisfactory completion of the observership, a certificate stating the duration and achievements will be issued.

- A recognised degree in Orthopaedic Surgery
- A basic command of oral and written English is required
- Demonstrated skill in basic arthroscopic surgery
- Evidence of published or presented research
- A letter of recommendation by the Supervisor/Chief of department

Stipend: The fellowship is self-funded as the fellow is not a paid employee.
